
Overview
- As a Passenger Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring a seamless travel experience for our customers. You will lead and support our service partners in passenger handling, aircraft servicing, and catering, while maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity. Your mission is to deliver exceptional quality service and ensure all operations comply with company and governmental regulations.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
As a founding member of our new IAD station team, you will be instrumental in bringing our 'Essentials Meet Premium’ experience to life through the following duties:
- Oversee all ground handling activities—including check-in, baggage, cargo, and catering—to ensure every flight departs safely and on schedule
- Maintain a culture of safety by ensuring all operations strictly follow company manuals, governmental regulations, and industry protocols
- Act as a reliable bridge between the Station Manager, airport authorities, and HQ, providing clear updates on ground handling progress and delay situations
- Partner closely with maintenance and flight crews to ensure all necessary supplies and services are ready for a seamless cabin experience
- Establish clear protocols with service providers to ensure catering and other essential uplifts meet our premium standards
- Review and maintain all station documentation, reports, and passenger manifests with high accuracy, reporting any recurring issues to management
- Monitor and manage local resources including ground service equipment and station supplies, ensuring the team is always ready for operation
- Coordinate with third-party contractors and perform other duties as assigned, always with a focus on our shared goals as a new station
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and eligible for airport security clearance.
- Preference for candidates currently residing in the Washington D.C. area.
- Minimum of 2 years in passenger service within a charter or commercial airline environment.
- A sincere dedication to aviation safety and a proven ability to uphold operational procedures and governmental regulations.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and maintain excellence in fast-paced environments, driving results with ownership.
- A strong focus on collective success and willingness to collaborate across departments.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and overtime as required by flight operations.
- Professional fluency in both spoken and written Korean and English
