
Overview
- As a Cargo Service Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and secure movement of goods through our new IAD station. You will coordinate and support our service partners in cargo handling, documentation, and logistics while maintaining the highest standards of operational integrity. Your mission is to ensure that all cargo operations comply with company and governmental regulations while delivering a reliable experience through precision and proactive problem-solving.
What You'll Do (Responsibilities)
As a founding member of our new IAD station team, you will be instrumental in bringing our 'Essentials Meet Premium’ experience to life through the following duties:
- Oversee daily cargo operations to ensure full compliance with company Standard Operating
Procedures(SOPs) and safety policies
- Maintain strict adherence to FAA, TSA, CBP regulations, and IATA standards
- Coordinate with ground handling agents and service providers
- Manage cargo documentation process, including manifest preparation and customs clearance, with high precision and attention to detail.
- Monitor operational performance and implement quality control measures
- Address customer inquiries and resolve operational issues
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship and eligible for airport security clearance.
- Skilled in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong sense of responsibility and commitment to delivering professional customer service
- Ability to organize tasks and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Positive mindset with an eagerness to learn new skills
- Ability to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, based on operational needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in airline cargo operations is preferred; however, entry-level candidates with a strong desire to learn are welcome to apply
- Possession of a valid IATA Dangerous Goods certification (IATA CBTA Function 7.3)
- Professional fluency in both written and spoken Korean and English
- Practical knowledge of cargo management systems (e.g., iCargo)
- Basic understanding of aviation security protocols and customs regulations
